This indicator is derived from the Political Financing component of EUROPAM and assesses the regulations on spending outlined in the legislation on political financing based on four questions: -Is there a ban on vote buying? -Are there bans on state resources being used in favor or against a political party or candidate? -Are there limits on the amount a political party can spend? -Are there limits on the amount a candidate can spend? Each item can yield a full or nil score, the final value has been standardized and aggregated into a score on a scale of 100.
